This product was built to solve the recurring operational and development challenges found in real environments like the ones below.
An interactive seat ticketing platform where admins design venue seat layouts in a canvas editor and audiences select and purchase seats. Existing solutions were either not operator-friendly or built in a way that piled up maintenance costs. UNISYS redesigned this into a product that's owned all the way through operations.

Design venue seating by placing sections, grades, and rows on a Konva canvas, with grid generation and unlimited undo/redo.
Seat data management
Manage seat grades, sections, and seats as normalized tables, dual-stored with a layout_json for fast retrieval to handle large layouts reliably.
Real-time seat selection · Purchase
Audiences select and purchase available seats, with seat statuses (available · selecting · sold · blocked) reflected in real time.
Event · Order management
Register and manage performance events, and track order history by order number (ORD-YYYYMMDD-XXXX).
Permission model
JWT-based authentication with admin/user role separation to control seat design and sales permissions.
